Neurological Stress Release
If your spine is misaligned anywhere along its length, that condition
can interfere with the proper operation of the limbic system and the flow
of reward chemicals in your brain. A chiropractic physician can release
this neurological stress using the torque release technique. Essentially,
it gets the dopamine flowing again, balancing the BRAIN REWARD CASCADE.
BRAIN
REWARD CASCADE
The Reward Site (the nucleus accumbens) in the brain is the master of simple but powerful drives. When all of the neurotransmitters, working in harmony and in conjunction with one another, stimulate the production, transportation, and reception of dopamine at the reward site, a person is calm, at ease and satisfied. Researcher, Kenneth Blum called this condition the BRAIN REWARD CASCADE. |
Who is the treatment for?
This drug-free treatment successfully works with addiction, with obsessive-compulsive
disorders and with mood disorders. Substantial scientific research supports
the technique’s success in reducing anxiety and depression levels, and
promoting improved measurements of well-being.
Neurological stress release is effective in the following areas:
- Treating nicotine addiction
- Treating sugar cravings
- Treating obsessive compulsive behaviors
- Treating ADD/ADHD
- Reducing cravings and the intensity of withdrawal from alcohol and drugs.
- Reducing anxiety and nervousness.
- Reducing pain from injuries, chronic substance abuse and drinking
- Treating insomnia and chronic fatigue
What is the treatment?
Torque release is a chiropractic technique that restores impeded nerve flow caused by the improper motion or position of the moving bones of the spine (technically, a “subluxation). This technique stimulates your nervous system in such a way that it will release and reduce tension, assisting your body to self-correct. The system is used to return the spinal column, your central nervous system, to health.
Adjustments usually involve a quick but gentle corrective force into the subluxated spinal vertebrae that helps add motion to spinal joints that aren't moving correctly. Your physician checks your spinal column for areas where the nervous system is being damaged by Subluxation and will deliver an adjustment using a small instrument called an Integrator. The instrument makes a sound like a staple gun and will feel like a quick impulse into the muscles of your spinal column. The advantage of the Integrator is that it can deliver a specific frequency into the nerve endings of the spinal column, exactly where nerve function has become “facilitated” (irritated).
What does the product do for its target user?
When a vertebra doesn't function properly, it interferes with or irritates nerves. It causes mechanical stress which accelerates wear and tear on surrounding spinal muscles ligaments, discs and joints. Pain, tenderness, inflammation, decreased mobility and muscle spasms soon follow.
Because of the direct relationship between the spine and nerve roots, vertebral subluxations can impair nerve functioning and lead to decreases in the communication within the body's nervous system and jeopardize overall health and wellness of the individual.
Symptoms
You can have subluxations and not even know it. Only the results of a
thorough examination can show the location and severity
of subluxations you may have. The following identifies
common symptoms.
- Neck pain, tenderness, soreness and stiffness
- Spinal muscle spasm, tightness or weakness
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Back pain, tenderness, soreness and stiffness
- Reduced spinal mobility
- Low energy
- Headaches
- Pain, numbness or tingling in the extremities
- Poor overall state of health
- Dizziness or balance problems
- Poor tissue healing
